Lovely weekend

On Friday I went to Birmingham wedding show with Dan’s mum, Sue, Rach & Dan’s sister, Frankie. It wasn’t as good as last year (there wasn’t as many stands etc) but was a really nice day out 
On Saturday I went shopping in Oxford with Rach & Frankie, didn’t get much apart from a really good Skittles flavoured milkshake! Then in the evening me, Dan & Rach went over to Andy’s & got a chinese & watched a movie. It was really nice to catch up with both Rach & Andy as we hadn’t seen them since Scarborough!
Yesterday we organised things for mothers day & then me & Dan went over to my Grandma & Grandads house at it was Camo’s 8th (?) birthday. It was so much fun! It was a proper kids party with balloons, finger food & lots of cake. All of the kids went to the park so I tagged along, it was awesome acting like a kid again! I never knew swings could make you feel so sick though! 
So yeah, I’ve had a lovely weekend.
Today me & Dan have met up with the lady who’s helping plan our wedding (don’t ask- mum’s insisted). Then we’ve had a lazy day. Dave & Sue have cleared out the bottom of the garden so they can have access to the canal so me & Dan make boats out of anything we could find in the garden, mine was awesome! It was like a ship with a sail & a small man inside with a button for a head! It won the race! Dan’s sunk as he’d made the sail from newspaper which got really soggy & fell off! hehe!
So, even though I’m really stressed with the wedding (family politics etc) I’m starting to look forward to the day now. Zoe seems to have things in control. It’s not that I wasn’t looking forward to marrying Dan, I just was dreading the day with Mum & Dad & (step-mum) Dee all in one room stressing over me & trying to tell me what to do.
I still wish me & Dan could run away & marry & then come back & say “We’re married now! No need to plan/do anything! Bye!” - kind of thing.

If only people hadn’t already bought outfits etc I’d seriously consider giving you some cash and telling you to go off and just do it!

That is so cool and scary! You’ll be all grown-up and married and maybe we should get you a swing set :p
My housemates think I’ll be the one who’ll get married in her trainers and hoodie!
